My name is Rhonda M. Coman-Shaheed. I work in a collaborative classroom with Pre-K Special Needs and Typical children. This will be my 22 year in education. We are working remote, and soon to return to the classroom March 1, 2021. The students will return March 8, 2021. Most of the teachers have been the given first dose of the vaccine and will receive the second dose within the month of March. I am excited to return to the classroom, to be more effective, especially for my Special Needs students. Working remote has presented so many challenges for the stability and wellbeing of our students . WE as educators, try to be as engaging as possible, but there is nothing to take the place of human contact and social interaction. I am looking forward to the conference to discover new ideas and

and make a difference with my student to curtail the educational slide from the event of Covid-19.

Hello, I work for the School District of Philadelphia. I teach 6th grade English Learners. I am looking forward to attending the webinars that will help me support my students during virtual learning. Our PreK-2 students will be returning for hybrid starting March 1st. It has been difficult ensuring students log on for school, but also actively participate and complete their work. I am looking forward to these webinars to support me and give me new ideas.

Hi! Stacy Scanlon. I am a librarian in the Walnut Creek School District in California. I am looking forward to the webinars on social emotional development, anti-bias and cultural relevance and reaching students during virtual learning. We have some students back in hybrid learning while some have remained in remote learning. It is taking a toll on all of us and I want to be able to make it a little easier for my students (and myself!) I try to be a support to the teachers as well so anything that will help me do that will be welcomed!

Hi everyone! I'm Renee Stewart and I teach Life Skills classes for Teen Court. I'm looking forward to Media Literacy for Today's World: Lessons Learned from Nazi Propaganda. One of the many things I work on with my students is good decision-making skills and also knowing your personal values so you can make those decisions.

Hi! My name is Dina Austin and I teach English Language Learners in western NY. It is my first year teaching ELLs full time and I truly love it! I am most looking forward to the Anti Bias and Culturally Responsive Teaching seminar. I feel that this would help my students tremendously. I am also taking a class on Culturally Responsive Teaching, so I think the conference would help to expand my knowledge about that!
