A citizenship/cultural trade lesson in which students work in groups representing different villages in an imaginary island. They have to work together to protect the interests of their village by trading and making alliances.
A good activity to make students think critically. This would be wonderful in the context of a larger unit where students could apply what they learn in this activity to how our government operates today.
This seems like an interesting and thought provoking game. It brings in elements of geography, team work and thinking skills. Thank you for uploading this.
