About This Lesson
<p>Castle Acre is a good example of a Norman settlement in Britain and has great historic value. This pack includes historical background, site maps, a full description of the site and suggested activities for before, during and after a visit.</p>
This is based on British standards and is not useful in an American classroom because our standards do not cover local history of Britain. Also, the lesson plan is 10 years old and can be updated (color pictures or video clips to use with students instead of black and white pictures?).
