Studying 'Britain Since 1948' for Grade 4. Fun topic area but with a difficult challenge. It provoked lots of interesting discussions around the class. Laminated sets of cards and labels were given to groups of four children. All abilities found it accessible.
Used this in yesterday's Diamond Jubilee celebration service in church. Excellent resource thanks.
I have used this resource three times in different schools and each time it held the children's interest and they were keen to find the correct decade. Created many good discussions - some children had never heard of Elvis!!
