Children's Book Day / Week - booklist

This book list is great for Children's Book Day (or book week) as it brings the global dimension to the day with titles from African countries, on green issues and about the natural world. It was created for Read to Feed, a fun sponsored reading scheme that helps motivate pupils to read books. Read to Feed is a great way for children to learn about the lives of others through telling and reading stories whilst they raise money so that practical help can be given to some of the poorest people in Africa.
