The text comes from an interview from the Good Bye Lenin website - an interview with the actress (Katrin Sass) who plays Christiane Kerner; Alex's mother. The accompanying reading comprehension is in English and there is a glossary to help with the vocab.
This resource is an interesting addition when teaching the GBL film in class. Authentic source text with glossary and questions in English allow pupils to practice their reading.
