Another brilliant tarsia for use at Core 4 when studying separation of variables in differential equations. This is a crucial step which is important for students to understand and this activity will really consolidate the process, I would use this as a main activity, it could easily be differentiated if you have a variety of abilities. Thank you for sharing.
