About This Lesson
Students work in a group, and they choose how they will demonstrate how well they have learned the unit. The self-reflection grade, in the rubric, depends on how well their self-assessment agrees with your assessment. This forces them to truly follow the rubric. This project should work for each unit and for each subject. It works well with the new teacher evaluation plan as it has student choice, is differentiated, the self-reflection gives the students responsibility for making high quality work, and the students monitor their own understanding.
