About This Lesson

After listening to the story of Deucalion and Pyrrha, students will point out things in the painting that represent the story as well as places where Castiglione used primary colors. Appropriate for ECE (Pre-K and younger): This lesson helps students describe what they see from a picture & are encouraged to use vocabulary rather that gestures. Sometimes children of this age are not asked to describe or answer questions. There is also a resource for students to refer to, which is important for students at this age.ECE-AR, ECE-OR, ECE-AR-dr, ECE-OR-sp, ECE-OR-re, ECE-OR-ex

The story, Deucalion and Pyrrha seems a bit above Kindergarten and 1st grade level. Perhaps the hearing comprehension is okay for the students.
