About This Lesson

Students will examine the artistic characteristics of the Sacred Bull of Shiva (Nandi) sculpture, locate India on a map of the world, and explain what it means to be a patron of the arts. Then they will write a short essay describing what kinds of art they would support if they were patrons of the arts and why.
