About This Lesson
Students will discuss how different cultures commemorate past people and events through memorials, photographs, cemeteries, etc. Using the Ancestor Portrait, the class will discuss the role of longevity in Chinese art. Students will bring in photos to create images of loved ones or pets that they wish to commemorate.
