About This Lesson
This is a one of a large number of uploads that uses three MLK speeches ("I Have a Dream," "Beyond Vietnam" and "Mountaintop) to teach both speech techniques AND persuasion. The unit also addresses how the media constructs past and present events for often political reasons.
The text is appropriate for the grade level, but would be more useful if specific instructions for the students and teacher were given.
