As animated characters become a significant presence in a child’s life, the child forms a bond with these characters and is more likely to trust them, and to respond to the information that is being presented. This is exemplified and often exploited by companies that use characters as marketing tools to sell products, but this phenomenon can also have a powerful effect in terms of education.
