      Provides key vocabulary for

      Provides key vocabulary for the American Civil War, with the exception of 'rebel yell', and the emphasis on the bravery of southern fighters. Military were brave on both sides, but no mention of northern courage. Pictures are a good support and the summary helps students develop an overview of the war and its basic conflicts.
