About This Lesson

In this lesson, students use the website www.moving.com to learn about the costs of moving, location decisions, and other amenities that they feel are important when establishing a residency.  Students will be placed in a pairs and given a list of questions to answer while they are on the moving.com site.  During this activity, students’ Active Listening skills will come into play, while they get practice on SEL competencies such as encouraging, engaging, and acknowledging while participating in a discussion.  Students will also be required to complete and Exit Ticket that would address their feelings about working with their partner and also address their scores from their Active Listening Skills Rubric.
