Sharing of Teaching Resources: Learning English Grammar Through Technology

Two objectives:
First, I am attempting to showcase the integration of technology into teaching English grammar for a subject titled “Analysing English Grammar” for degree students in a university in Hong Kong. In general, English is a second language to most of students in Hong Kong whereas Cantonese is the first language. Second, through this teaching resources sharing-platform organised by the American Federation of Teachers, educators, parents, school administrative colleagues, etc. can be brought together here to access those uploaded resources when teaching and learning.
To start with, we ask our students to have tried the following Self-reflection Activity on Analysing English Grammar. In this activity, six questions are included and they aim to enhance students’ thinking about what aspects of English grammar that they have learned and what truly motivate them to learn English grammar in life.
