Biography
Hi there!
My name is Eleni and I am a Special Education teacher for the Department of Education in NYC. Prior to working for the DOE, I was a Fulbright English teacher in Taipei, Taiwan. During my grant period I participated in cultural exchange through direct interaction with local Taiwanese people, both in and outside the classroom. This promoted an understanding and appreciation of other cultures, which is a reflection of the Fulbright message to create "a world with a little more knowledge and a little less conflict".
