Dr. Erica Litke is an assistant professor in mathematics education at the College of Education and Human Development at the University of Delaware. Prior to that, Dr. Litke taught high school mathematics at a public school in New York City, where she was a Math for America Master Teacher. Her research focuses on describing and analyzing instructional practice in mathematics. She is particularly interested in algebra and how issues of instruction connect to broader policy-related issues in education. She considers the ways in which professional learning can support teachers to develop content-specific and equity-focused instructional practices and has partnered with and supported teachers in New York City, Philadelphia, Massachusetts, and Delaware.
