Biography
Katie is a reading interventionist at Lincoln Park Middle School in Duluth, MN. She has taught there for 8 years. Currently she is also on the Lincoln Park Community School board. She has been involved with the Parent teacher home visit project and recently became a trainer. Katie is also involved in the Duluth Federation of Teachers and currently serves as one of the union vice presidents as well as a building steward at Lincoln.
Katie attended the University of Minnesota Duluth for Elementary Education and Math. She then attended Bemidji State for a Master's in the Art of Teaching and a Reading license as well as a EBD license. Currently, she is attending Hamline University for her EDD and administrative licensure.
