Mrs. Delgado is a native of Miami, Florida who graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and from Nova Southeastern University with her Masters in Educational Leadership. Mrs. Delgado intends on furthering her education and obtaining her Doctorate in Education, specializing in Social Studies Curriculum and Instruction. Mrs. Delgado has been teaching since 2007 and loves her career. She believes that teaching is a very rewarding profession and hopes to someday enhance the education industry as a whole. Mrs. Delgado has served as her previous schools’ Social Sciences teacher and Department Supervisor, Assessment Coordinator, Advanced Placement Coordinator, Advanced Placement Committee Chairperson, Title I Liaison, School Advisory Council Chairperson (SAC) and as the Student Government Advisor. She has been with the Perth Amboy School District since 2016 and has served on the district's Social Studies Benchmark Revision Committee and on the school's School Improvement Committee (ScIP). Mrs. Delgado believes that successful students are a product of teachers and parents who work together as a team.
