About This Lesson

To help your students get the most out of your lessons, planning logical, coherent, supportive, focused lessons is necessary. These are the steps lessons need to follow so kids learn what's being taught. Most of your time will be spent in step 5. As you are slowly guiding the kids through practicing the new skill, very gradually release more of the burden of the work onto them. This can take days for difficult concepts. This lesson design supports the Danielson Framework Component 1E.
