About This Lesson

<p>These resources give background information, site maps and photos of The Old Merchant’s House and Row 111 House which are two seventeenth-century British houses built by wealthy merchants. This is a 12 year old resource that is geared for a class field trip to the house. It does not serve much use in the American curriculum. Perhaps if you were in the U.K. and were visiting, this would be useful for background information, but other than that it does not serve much use especially for the U.S.
