About This Lesson

Students will examine the artistic characteristics of the Japanese Shinto Deity and locate Japan and India on a map of the world. Then they will create a list of countries that people would have had to travel to by boat from the United States/North America several hundred years ago and describe ideas, resources, and/or products that we have received from those countries.
