About This Lesson
My students love to make class books. This book is patterned after the song, "Vowel Bat", found on Shari Sloane's album, "School is Cool." (Shari's album can be ordered at: www.kidscount1234.com) Copy one page for each child. Each child write his/her name on the first and last line next to the word Bat. Then, on the remaining lines, the child writes the first letter of his/her name. This song book gives the children a chance to manipulate sounds in a fun way.
