About This Lesson
This multi-day documents-based lesson will help American History students at the high school level learn about and evaluate the American response to Soviet expansion during the early years of the Cold War. Students work in small groups to decode primary documents and learn directly from them, thus enhancing both their content knowledge and their literacy.
