About This Lesson
Students are asked to design a floorplan for a house with 5 rooms. They must then install flooring in the rooms at a designated cost. They need to find the area of each room and the cost of flooring each room. 1cm grid paper is required to accompany the handout. Approximate time on lesson 2 hours with a bottom set.
