The 35th in Mr Barton's Autograph Video tutorial series. We make good use out of our cube again this week, this time by taking a look at the surprisingly tricky question of: "how many planes of symmetry does a cube have?". Autograph's 3D mode provides a lovely way of displaying the answer. Oh, and for the record, I got this question wrong! This is a great tutorial explaining how to show students planes of symmetry in 3D shapes. This is an example with a cube but you could replicate it for other shapes if you are Autograph savvy! This would make a really good demonstration in class to make it really clear for the students, alternatively you could get them on the computer investigating it themselves. Well worth a watch. Thank you for sharing.
