About This Lesson
This Dallas Symphony Youth Concert, “Bach to the Future”, explores how music has developed over the past few centuries through the lens of one of its greatest masters: Johann Sebastian Bach. During the concert, students will not only get to know a bit about this legendary composer, but they will also gain some first-hand experience of how music has changed from Bach’s time to today, illustrated by some of the most beautiful and exciting pieces in the orchestral repertoire.
