Your activities were clear to understand, engaging for the students, and provided multiple ways for them to understand the content.
To further relate to the Common Core, what if you showed excerpts of the Domesday Book for a primary source for students to analyze?
In the U.S., this would only relate to Grade 7 and not 6 and 8.
This resource is very useful and is worth a look at!
