Being Victor is a teen soap-opera designed to support teaching of the citizenship curriculum. In this episode, the sex tape goes viral amongst the students of Queen Mary’s college leaving Lesley’s reputation in tatters. Free accompanying lesson plans can be downloaded at www.truetube.co.uk. The lesson plan and materials are set for the UK curriculum but there is good info. with in it for U.S. use. The video clip though heavy with British accents is very realistic and pretty universal. Teachers will find this a good resource but should preview carefully. Topics are timely but you should determine whether they are appropriate for your students.
