About This Lesson
Attached is the blueprint to machine the halves of a bolt puzzle on an Engine lathe for beginning machinists. Use a 1/4-28 set screw to assemble the halves then finish turn and thread using Tailstock if you want. Purchase 1/2-13 hex nuts. We typically have the students Knurl the heads of the halves.
