This lesson will encourage the children to think about how reliable visual sources are. If you then go on the CBBC website under ' Boudicca song' you'll find a fab horrible Histories video and song sheet to accompany this lesson. You and your class will LOVE it. (it is also on Youtube)
I love this as it really gets them thinking in history skills terms and learning about historical interpretation. Its a great pre cursor to them deciding what they think she really looked like. The use of the quoted translated ancient writing makes it feel very real.Thanks for sharing.
