About This Lesson

<p>The first image is of a perspective view of the Chinese Bridge in Godmanchester, with a church tower in the background. It was built in 1827 following the fashion for oriental art. The second, Ha’penny Bridge reflected in the River Thames with a toll house still standing at its northern end. The bridge dates from 1793 and has a main arch with a 51ft span.
