About This Lesson

Every day; thousands of women die of pregnancy related complications. This lesson plan encourages students to think about the causes of these preventable deaths and encourages them to work together to ensure that pregnancy and childbirth are safe for all women and newborns in every country around the world. Based upon Bwindi’s Babies; a short film set in Uganda; This lesson plan looks at a real life case study; and considers the barriers to reducing the maternal deaths in remote communities.--Video found on YouTube

Thanks for sharing this well made lesson. I certainly recommend looking at the website. This has been included in the April newsletter for PSHCE.
