About This Lesson

Image one is a view of Bodiam Castle, UK, looking across the moat. The castle was built in the late 14th century. Image two is Windsor Castle. Windsor is England's largest castle and a royal palace. The castle dates back to William the Conqueror but the first stone buildings were erected by Henry II between 1165 and 1179. Use the weblink to find lots more images of castles.
