<p>This simple comprehension activity is based on information found in the very simple ‘Rookie - Read about Holidays: Chinese New Year’ book by David Marx but could be used with other books. I chose this book particularly because it is so simply laid out.
I found this really helpful with a group of Entry level adults. They enjoyed reading simple books to find out the answers to the questions and were very interested in learning about their animal sign. Thank you.
There are some higher-level thinking questions after the initial set. However, there are no instructional strategies, objectives, or context for this lesson.
