About This Lesson
<p>Homeless man, Mick, talks about his life on the street. He explains that after his wife died he had a mental breakdown which resulted in his children being taken into foster care. He has been in London 2 years, and became homeless and started begging after he ran out of money. Mick comments that some people are nice and come and sit talk, others throw coins and shout, ‘Get a job.’ Mick says he wants about the issues surrounding homelessness.
