About This Lesson

Students will critically examine and discuss the Eleven-Headed Bodhisattva of Compassion. They will then discuss historical and current dilemmas. Using knowledge gained from learning about the art object, students will collaboratively develop a dilemma frame chart that identifies a problem, describes what people have historically done to deal with the problem, then allows students to synthesize information gained and determine a compassionate way to deal with or help solve the dilemma. Appropriate for Early Childhood Education (Pre-K and younger). ECE-AR-cr, ECE-AR
