About This Lesson
After hearing the story of Hanuman and observing the sculpture, students will explore how the Hanuman sculpture might have looked originally when it was dressed up and carried in a festival. They will decorate a mock statue with leis, ribbons, garlands, and other colorful items and parade it around the classroom.
