Having the knowledge that Tutu has retired from the public eye students write an acceptance speech for Tutu to read at an awards event.
This activity assumes students know who Desmond Tutu is and to know about his accomplishments. Tutu has written acceptance speeches (Nobel Peace Prize, for example) so this could be easily copied for students. Make sure they don't know this so you can encourage creativity!
