About This Lesson
A winter poem by the German poet Hoffmann von Fallersleben offers opportunity to introduce students to German poetry. There are activities to practice reading and vocabulary skills as well as present tense and perfect tense. Students are encouraged to express their opinion and can do further studies on "Das Lied der Deutschen" and Fallersleben's life.
