About This Lesson
After analyzing Russell’s painting In the Enemy’s Country for its artistic elements and storytelling qualities, students will explore the ways in which people can change their appearance to fit into a situation. Students will then use elements of the discussion to write a descriptive piece explainin More…g the scene depicted from the perspective of one of Russell’s figures.
With some modifications, this will be an interesting topic/concept for students. It will take at least three days, however.
