About This Lesson
Students will read about George Washington’s efforts to strengthen agri- culture in the US and become familiar with words associated with agri- culture. Students will research to find examples of Washington’s contri- butions to agriculture. Students will make their own gardening journals. Students will conduct scientific experiments with different kinds of fer- tilizer and keep journals of their observations.
