About This Lesson
This is a set of three different edible sorting activities. Nothing motivates children more than to count something they can eat when finished. In the fall, Brach's puts out Candy Corn mixes and Harvest mixes. Around Halloween, Target puts out, under their own label, spooky shaped fruit snacks. Students sort and record how many of each item they have. I buy one bag of Brach's for a class of 25 so they only get a few edibles to sort.
