About This Lesson

Students work in small groups prior to reading Joseph Conrad's Heart of Darkness to conduct research and design a museum exhibit revolving around a specific historical or cultural topic.

Students will collaborate to design a collection of curated items that include: historical artifacts, primary source documents, a diagram, chart, map or timeline, and a multi-media clip.
