About This Lesson
Students will learn about discrimination and segregation in the military during World War II and develop college- and career-ready reading and writing skills. Students will also learn to write informative/explanatory texts that convey ideas and concepts using relevant information that is carefully selected and organized. Students will conduct short research projects, drawing on several sources, to answer a question.
