About This Lesson
This map shows both Marco Polo and Ibn Battuta's travels. I modified it so the Marco Polo lines of travel are thicker than Ibn Battuta, so it can be printed in black and white for students. There are also 2 short descriptions of the two men and 2 questions about their travels - who would you have rather traveled with and why, and what geographic features would have provided obstacles for the 2 men.
