A fantastic resource which demonstrates the scales method of solving equations with unknowns on both sides. It allows you to show all or part of a method to solving a question, breaks the questions into clear steps that the pupils can follow and includes two sets of questions which can be left on the board or printed off as worksheets. I would use this powerpoint for my entire lesson as it has it all.
