About This Lesson
Slide show with impacting pictures of people with various diet-related disorders. I find this to be very useful when starting a nutrition topic as the pictures are quite confronting and generate good discussions. I get the students to fill in the word document (or have them complete it in their books) as it directly links the specific foods to their nutrients and the subsequent nutritional diseases that can be caused if they are eaten at the wrong amounts (excess or inadequate).
