About This Lesson
A 2-3 day lesson rooted in the Federalists Papers, in which students deepen their understanding of both those foundational documents and the concepts of separation of powers, with a special emphasis on how the Executive and Judicial branches check the legislative powers of Congress. This lesson is appropriate for regular or AP U.S. History or U.S. Government.
